I was invited to a practice session in the middle of May 2010 and got on 2 bulls. The very next day I went out and bought my rope, spurs and rosin. The next week I bought my own vest and arranged for a set of custom chaps. I'd wanted to ride since I was little but there wasn't anywhere close to my hometown to "get started." I'm very focused and very addicted to bull riding. In the future my main goals are to not get seriously injured, possibly win a few buckles, and introduce others to the sport.
I decided to join Ride Rank for a Cure because of the number of women in my life that I consider moms, sisters and friends and also for a close friend of mine that was diagnosed with Leukemia. Cancer is a horrible thing for any person to live with and I see Ride Rank for a Cure as a way for me to give back and help out people both unfamiliar with who I am, and others whom I call family.
