Ricky attended Garden City Community College as a member of the rodeo team competing in the Central Plains Region. Ricky works full time for the Augusta Department of Safety as a police officer and fire fighter.  He competes in the PRCA Prairie Circuit, the CePRA, SEBRA, and the KPRA.  He serves as the bull riding event director in the CePRA.  Ricky is the founder of Ride Rank for a Cure and the head instructor of the Ride Rank Bull Riding School.
