Jake attended Garden City Community College as a member of the rodeo team competing in the Central Plains Region.  He owns his own horse shoeing and hunting guide service as well as operating heavy machinery in the construction business.  Jake is recently married to Karleen Johnson.  Jake will be competing regularly in PBR and PRCA rodeos this season.
