I got my start in rodeo when I was a little kid thanks to my dad. He used to ride bareback horses in the MRCA and PRCA. It wasn't till I was 16 when I got on my first bull at Matt Bohon's house while attending Gary Leffew Bull Riding School. Over the years I have had a few bumps and bruises along the way. But I continue to learn and study the sport of bull riding everyday to better myself any way possible. For me, bull riding is so much more than just getting on bulls on the weekends; its a way of life that allows me to meet new people everyday. I get to do things and see places I probably wouldn't get to if I did something else. It allows me to make a living doing something that I love and am very passionate about.
My goals for 2011 are:
Make the NFPB Finals
Win The Year End Championship in NFPB
Make the PBR tour this year
Win Rookie of the Year in PBR
Help spread the awareness for cancer
Raise $5000 to donate for cancer
