Dakota  started riding at age 9 in junior rodeos and continued onto high school rodeo, college and professional rodeos.  He competed in the Central Plains region for three years as a member of the Kansas State University Rodeo Team. He continued his career at K-State serving as an assistant rodeo coach for three years.  He obtained his BS degree in Chemical Engineering and now works full time in the renewable energyy industry.  Dakota is continuing his education as he is working on obtaining his Masters degree in Chemical Engineering.  Dakota will attend approximately 100 PRCA Rodeos, CBR and PBR events during the 2010 season.
