Chad Stringfellow was born in Tucson, AZ in 1977. He now resides in Cave Creek AZ. Chad is a 3rd generation rodeo cowboy, following in the footsteps of his grandpa, dad, uncles and cousins. He has competed in all three rough stock events. Chad started riding bulls at 17 then got on some bareback horses for awhile too. At 30 he began getting on saddle broncs as a wrist injury kept him from competing at the pro level on bulls. He has had to overcome a huge obstacle being over 6'4 " tall, but a big heart and tons of try made up for it. Chad now puts a lot of focus into one of his new passion's, team roping.  Chad has been blessed with the opportunity to compete with some of the top ropers in the south-west.

Chad now battles a much tougher adversary than he has ever met in an arena.  Chad was recently diagnosed with liver and colon cancer.  After undergoing numerous chemotherapy treatments, Chad had to have his colon and part of his liver removed April 17, 2010.  Chad underwent another surgery on his liver June 24, 2010.

Chad is known for his upbeat personality.  He always puts others before himself and completely embraces the rodeo lifestyle.  Chad is a proud father of a beautiful girl and an inspiration to all who have known him.
