What is Ride Rank for a Cure?

Inspired by a young bull rider who was unable to attend the 2009 Ride Rank Bull Riding School due to a remission of his cancer, Ricky Ritter decided to donate any proceeds from that school to him. Ricky received such a positive feedback from his sponsors and the rodeo community he did some research and found there was a real need for assistance to families living with cancer.

Ride Rank for a Cure was founded in 2010 and is a non-profit organization to increase cancer awareness and provide support for those suffering with the disease. Through the combination of sponsorships, fundraisers and the proceeds of the Ride Rank Bull Riding School, Ride Rank for a Cure will donate 100% of the profits to well deserving individuals and causes each year.

What does Ride Rank mean? Rank, in rodeo terms, means tough, strong, no quit, give 100%. At Ride Rank for a Cure we want to be tough for the cause, just as our rodeo athletes will stay strong in their no quit attitudes in the arena. We want our organization to give 100% in our effort to spread cancer awareness and assist those in need.

Throughout the year our team members and volunteers, many of whom are rodeo athletes, will participate in rodeos and events all over the nation. They may have merchandise booths or hold drawings to raise money and promote cancer awareness.
